Dental Anasthesia

Almost everyone familiar with the sensation of the mouth “asleep” when we go to the dentist. That feeling is the result of local anesthesia, the dentist injected the solution into the mouth to block pain during dental procedures. Despite their usefulness to prevent pain, an application with the familiar and dreaded needle produces a lot of anxiety in dental patients. Today, we feel relieved that there is a modern technique of local anesthesia which allows us to visit more enjoyable.

In addition, anxious patients can use sedation and other psychological techniques to relax the patient. However, local anesthesia is inadequate in some patients. young patients and some specific disabilities can not tolerate regular dental care despite local anesthesia. In these patients, general anesthesia is recommended.
