Did you know that almost half of the Spanish population does not visit the dentist unless you have pain? That is just one of the conclusions of the annual study on the Prevention and Health in Spain by the third consecutive year Vital Dent Clinics across 26 175 responses from people who have gone through some of its clinics, and perhaps the most significant .

And is that, although 60% of the Spanish population argues attend occasional reviews carried out without treatment, yet 40% of the Spanish population recognizes go to the dentist only when you have a problem. They are also citizens over 60 years the least likely to go to the dentist preventively, it only makes 49.4%. (more…)

Dental Caries

Dental living organ that contains nerves and blood vessels. In the middle of each tooth, is a tissue called the pulp. Previously it was thought that old age was losing natural teeth. We now know that this is not true.
THAT is plaque!

The board is composed of invisible masses of harmful germs that live in the mouth and stick to the teeth. Some types of plaque cause tooth decay.

Other types of plaque cause gum disease. The gums red, swollen or bleeding gums may be early signs of gum disease. If gum disease is ignored, the tissues that hold teeth in place are destroyed and eventually lose their teeth. (more…)
