‘Brushing’

Dentine hypersensitivity

Monday, March 1st, 2010

Are you a toothache like electricity, when you drink something cold, or scrubbing?. You may have a sensitivity of dentin. A problem that affects 1 in 3 adults.

What is the sensitivity or the dentin hyperesthesia?

Hyper: much more than. Stesia: feeling pain, feeling, touch. An-Stesia: no feeling, no pain, percibir.Ya do not know, it would be boring, but knowing it makes you less ass. More leyendo.

This is painful, like a shock, an electric current, which is felt in the teeth, and lasts for two to five seconds. If you take more than five seconds, not dentin sensitivity, and therefore changes in treatment.

Pain is not spontaneous, did not appear suddenly, just because. The pain is caused, come and go in five seconds or less. But it is intense. Very acute. Surprised at the same time.

This is caused by eating something sweet and sticky (chocolate fudge) to drink or eat something cold and not too cold, brushing, washing, the biting cold, too hot to drink. Even breathing through the mouth in the winter. But it will take off as a stimulus. That remains.
