Sensitivity of teeth

Sensitivity of teeth can be caused by many factors, some of them may periodontal disease or periodontitis. Scrubbing with coarse brush horizontally or using abrasive toothpaste can also damage the thin enamel layer that is between the teeth and gums.

Causes of tooth sensitivity

A gum recession can also result from a bad tooth position or congenital anatomical defects.

Tooth whitening, can be caused by abnormal sensitivity to the teeth.
Acids found in foods and can erode tooth enamel demineralisation.
Clenching or grinding teeth (bruxism) can wear away enamel.

The main thing in this case is to eliminate the factors that dangerous to stop the disease and prevent tooth loss. (more…)
